International Relations Theories Crisis in the Age of Globalisation
The aim of my paper is to critically examine the globalization’s impact on the international relations theories (IRT). I argue that the IRT crisis is rooted in the constant interparadigm debates in this research field. The discourse analysis is the major research method employed in the article. The article is divided into three parts. In the first one, I briefly discuss the origins of the lack of the coherent methodological project in international relations. The second part presents the current crisis of IRT as a consequence of interparadigm debates. Conclusions are presented in the last part of the paper.
