„Kultura-Historia-Globalizacja” to publikowane online, recenzowane czasopismo naukowe typu open source i open access (20 punktów na liście MEiN) poświęcone studiom globalnym. Ukazuje się jako półrocznik. W perspektywie współczesnej i historycznej omawiane są na jego łamach takie fenomeny związane z globalizacją jak: miasto, mobilność, migracje; produkcja, wymiana i konsumpcja dóbr; systemy polityczno-ekonomiczne i relacje władzy; procesy narodotwórcze i stosunki międzynarodowe; nadpęcia etniczne i religijne, konflikty o zasięgu światowym; biopolityka; zmiany klimatyczne. Do równie ważnych zagadnień należą też: codzienność, sposoby i style życia, przekonania i wierzenia; praktyki artystyczne i literackie; nowe technologie; media i komunikacja. Uwzględniani są przy tym zarówno aktorzy ludzcy, jak i nie-ludzcy (zwierzęta, mikroorganizmy, rośliny, woda, minerały, przedmioty).
Od lat K-H-G stanowi otwarte forum prezentacji wyników badań, konfrontacji rozmaitych koncepcji i poglądów osób reprezentujących różne dyscypliny naukowe, w tym między innymi kulturoznawstwo, historię, archeologię, antropologię, pedagogikę, psychologię, filozofię, socjologię, politologię, ekonomię, literaturoznawstwo, badania sztuki (teatru, muzyki, praktyk wizualnych). W roku 2021 z okazji 15-lecia pisma w wydawnictwie Brill ukazał się tom Interpreting Globalization. Polish Perspectives on Culture in the Globalized World prezentujący obszernie dotychczasową działalność czasopisma.

Kultura – Historia – Globalizacja (Culture – History – Globalisation) is an online peer-reviewed open-source and open-access journal devoted to Global Studies. It appears on a half-yearly basis and has been awarded 20 points in the Journal List of the Polish Ministry of Education and Science. Papers published in KHG offer contemporary and historical perspectives on a broad range of globalization-related issues and developments, including the city, mobility and migrations; the production, exchange and consumption of goods; political and economic systems and power relations; ethnic and religious tensions and global conflicts; biopolitics; and climate change. A lot of attention is also given to everydayness, ways of life, lifestyles, worldviews and beliefs; literary and artistic practices; new technologies; and media and communication. Contributors to KHG investigate both human and non-human actors (therein animals, microorganisms, plants, water, minerals and objects).
Since its foundation in 2006, KHG has been a lively forum for sharing research findings and bringing together varied concepts and ideas, providing a transdisciplinary platform used by scholars from an array of fields, such as cultural studies, history, archaeology, anthropology, education, psychology, philosophy, sociology, political science, economy, literary studies and art research (theatre, music and visual practices). In 2021, a collected volume titled Interpreting Globalization: Polish Perspectives on Culture in the Globalized World was published by Brill to celebrate the fifteenth anniversary of the journal by presenting a quintessential sample of its multifarious work.

For quite a while, Kultura-Historia-Globalizacja could be accessed at www.khg.uni.wroc.pl. That website is currently being restructured, but when it comes back, KHG should be available both here and on its previous website.
