Globalization is a fact. Practically speaking, there is not a place on the Earth, where it would not exert its influence on everyday life. The world of Islam, together with the whole Arabic world is asking itself the following question: how is it to react? Some people do want the assimilation of Western culture even at the cost of profound changes, others call for the creation of its Islamic equivalent. This discussion takes many forms and inevitably leads to a confrontation.
