A few remarks on art in the age of globalisation. Reception of Frédéric Chopin and his works
A spiritual nature of music could be one of the reasons why it can spread from one cultural region to a very distant one. A good example is F. Chopin’s music: considered as the essence of Polishness gained popularity in such countries as Japan, Korea, China or Iran. The article discusses most remarkable examples of Chopin’s reception in Asian countries raising questions about the character of his popularity.
