The Complexity of Globalization, or Different Global Histories
When did globalization begin? This simple question does not find a simple answer. Globalization turns out to be a nexus of many globalization processes. These processes tend to be of different character and their beginnings are also to be dated differently. Thus the history of globalization turns out to be a nexus of disparate global histories. The beginnings of some of them date back to distant past.
