The Brazylian Case: A Nation-Building Process or a Phenomena of Latinoamericanization?
The paper focuses on the process of the integration and shaping of Brazil’s society and culture. Different models of the processes involved are analyzed. The author also investigates the main reasons, elements, character and the results of this process. What is emphasized is pluralism, polymorphism, syncretism, glocalism and different types of multiculturalism. The paper presents also a list of key questions opening the field for further research.
