Globalisation by the Huns
The invasion of the Huns on Europe in 375 AD is considered as a pure military attack, with very strong political and social effects in the barbarian part of the continent, and the Roma Empire as well. It was obviously a kind of “globalization”: domino’s effect in the settlement changes, connections between Hun’s dynasty and local barbarian elites, common military enterprises etc. But the Hun’s culture, as an Asiatic product, strange element in the European system of worth, could never be successful. It was only a short lasting action and moderator of the European civilizations element, before all in he confrontation with other global proposition: Christianity.
