A Modern Usage of Archaeological Relics on Kazakhstan Territories of the Silk Road

Kazakhstan, a large and young Asian country with great location that favors quick development. For many centuries south area of Kazakhstan attracted people with its friendly climate and unique terrain conditions. Archaeological data suggests that trails for communication and resources already existed in the 1st millennium BC. They ran west from Altai Mountains through Kazakh Steppe towards Black Sea. Since the 1st century BC a new diplomatic and economic trail started to exist. It’s known now as the Silk Road. The Silk Road was not only used to transport luxury goods, but also to spread technological innovations, religious beliefs and art. At the end of the 4th century AD new cities, which structure was based on Central Asia cities, started to appear along routes that crossed river valleys. Some of them survived to this day. Some, unfortunately, were lost irretrievably.
