Contemporary forms of religious activity in an era of globalization
Under the pressure of globalization, some contemporary religions „explode” in the large space of our Globe. The technological development of globalization facilitates communication across social and territorial boundaries. Different levels of global openness also pave the way to a wider penetration of different religious denominations or rituals all over the world. We get the impression that the new opportunities brought about by globalization, have influenced the rise and importance of religion.
