Globalization of fundamentalism
Author of the article Globalization of fundamentalism argues that modern fundamentalist movements should be analyzed not only in the local context, but also as a global phenomenon. Globalization and the economic and social modernization didn’t lead to the disappearance of religion and the creation of a universal, secular, individualistic and liberal culture. On the contrary — fundamentalisms of various types gained a new global face.
