The goal of this article is to represent the narration and strategy of acting applied by an international and local ngo in defense of the Basarwa people (known in Poland as the Bushmen) against displacements from the Central Kalahari Game Reserve where diamond deposits have been discovered. The problem is discussed in the context of political and economic situation of Botswana, with an especial focus on the role of diamonds for the state functioning.
