Globalization and Locality in Context of Problems and Positions in the Philosophy of History
In this paper I analyze the idea of universality and locality formulated in selected conceptions of the philosophy of history (Kant, Hegel, Schopenhauer, Koneczny). First, I introduce their main theses. Second, I endeavour to demonstrate that their ideas concern the same problems which lie at the basis of the contemporary discussions concerning globalization processes.
