The Purple Wanderer
The aim of my paper is to draw attention to the way particular social groups (intellectuals, political and economic elites, physical workers, immigrants) participate in the processes that have a global character. The idea of social groups or individuals having a part to play in globalization processes might be of paramount importance for social scientists studying globalization. Taking it into account could secure scholars from facile absolutization of an experience of the present that may not necessarily be shared by everyone.
