Globality from the Northern Point of View. The Nordic Model of the Society of Knowledge
In my paper I draw attention to the way the ideas of upbringing and education are present in the Nordic discourse on globalization and globality. Science, knowledge and cognition are important elements forming the structure of a society operating effectively in an era of an ever-increasing competetiveness. The article presents the ways globalization is conceptualized in the Nordic countries along with educational and instructional methods whose aim is to prepare the society to the life in the modern world.
