Introduction to Field Research of Globalization
There are many different conceptions of globalization. Still, what unites their authors, is their conviction as to its global range. Although they differently conceptualize the nature of globalization, they usually discern areas and places where it can exert its influence particularly intensively, the ones which it affects to a lesser extent and lastly, the ones it hardly ever reaches. The differences between the perspectives of European, American, Asian and Latin-American authors are visible. What areas should attract our attention and what perspective do we need in order to understand globalization? These are questions I would like to answer.
