Contemporary Faces of Cultural Differences
The present ceaselessly demands from us to seek newer and more actual determinations for it, but at the same time it forces us to question it about this novum. We are confronted with the problem of changeability and durability, or identity and dissimilarity of socio-cultural phenomena. When some phenomena rise forth and begin to extend their influence, others gradually vanish. This leads me to pose questions about the present status of cultural differences. I will ask if there are fundamental cultural differences in the contemporary world, where one can find them and of what character they can be.
